Consideration period for home buyers 

A buyer may decide to abandon the purchase of a house. They can do so up to 3 days after they receive the signed deed of sale or a copy thereof. This 3-day consideration period (in Dutch) must consist of at least 2 working days. The buyer does not need to give a reason or pay compensation for cancelling the purchase.Since the buyer purchased remotely, the legal period becomes fourteen days 14 days.
This is stipulated in Article 7:2, paragraph 2 of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek).
